Nearly everyone at Akin Gump is doing a full day’s effort, extensive hours from early morning all the way through late evening, deficient of a serene apposite communal area. Making the most suitable refuge quarters misplaced from the formal procedures of the private law practices routines, the scheme portrays an interior as a departure from the archetypal. Systematically defining an appealing area inside the core, as an unparalleled sector, contrasting to the unyielding offices which fill the entire perimeter of the building’s interior.

The nucleus of the design is white lit opaque glass and white leather seating cantilevering out from the walls defining the enclave within the center of the greater triangular form, elegantly traversing essential interactions: between the lounge and the offices, the diverse personnel working or taking a break.
