A bespoke commission meticulously crafted to meet specific criteria and dimensions for a private residence on Bishops Avenue in North London. This sophisticated piece of domestic sculpture integrates two distinct elements: architectural glass and seven layers of intricately painted fired glass, all poised with exacting precision atop a minimalist illuminated plinth. The design aims to create a three-dimensional form within a vessel, merging the typologies of a frontal elevation view rendered in fine pointillism to form a cohesive entity. The framework’s character is inspired by the client’s molecular biological research on fruit flies, capturing the vibrant micro-particles from magnified x-rays.
